The Laminal Phonetics Change Of The High Vowels[i] In Guzhang Dialect

This paper mainly studies the laminal phonetics change of the high vowel[i]in Guzhang dialect.In Guzhang dialect the pronunciation of high vowel[i]has more features,it showed different phenomena with different groups of initial.When[i]collocated with the groups of initial[tc]and[p],nasal[n]and zero initial,this tongue changes to blade,becomes a laminal[i3].First this study should collect the investigated recording material,and then through the software of Praat for data extraction,finally use Excel 2010 for data analysis.This paper uses the experimental phonetics method,such as drawing through the analysis of formant patternand vowel chart,observing of spectrogram and waveform and two-dimensional frequency spectrum,calculating the harmonic to noise ratio,and studing the palatogram and linguagram.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background,research object,existing research results and the significance and methods of this study.The second chapter descripts and analysis of the high vowel[i]laminal phenomenon from the phonological pattern of Guzhang dialect.The third chapter is the important part of this article,it is from the perspective of experimental phonetics to explore the nature of laminal change of high vowel[i]in Guzhang dialect,use a series of experimental to analysis and comparison the nature of laminal,such as the formant pattern,vowel chart,spectrogram,waveform and frequency spectrum of two-dimensional,harmonic to noise ratio,the palatogram and linguagram.The fourth chapter is the understanding of the laminal changing of high vowels[i],it was investigated and compared from the diachronic and synchronic level,and discussed the relationship between "laminal" and "friction" in Guzhang dialect,finally guessed the reasons and development of this laminal phonetics change of high vowel[i]in Guzhang dialect.In this paper,through a series of the research and the phenomenon of acoustic experiments,we think the laminal phonetic change of high vowel[i]currently only relate to the final of single vowels[i]in Guzhang dialect,The vowel[i]as the final collocated with the groups of initial[t6]and[p],nasal[n]and zero initial,the tongue changes into the laminal[i3].This paper considers high vowels had "laminal" change in Guzhang dialect,at the same time it maybe accompanied by friction,but "friction”is not inevitable;at present the investigation results of the relationship between Chinese dialects and some historical high vowel[i]on the sound change shows they have intimate connection,but it remains to be further studied;this paper think the currently laminal change in Guzhang dialect is a result of natural phonetic change.
