As of the development of the technology of this country and people paying more and more attention to their health status,medical professionals need to improve both their professional skills and their service quality.What's more,they are facing a lot of pressure from the population.This study focuses on medical professionals' Compassion Fatigue,Psychological Capital and Work Engagement from the perspective of positive psychology.Based on the Job Demands-Resources(JD-R)Model assume that as a psychological-layer job demand,Compassion Fatigue can work as the individual's work resource,and can measure the level of medical professionals' work engagement.This research adopts the random sampling method,conducting a questionnaire survey on608 medical professionals form Mudanjiang,Daqing and Mishan.Data was use the Compassion Fatigue-Short Scale,PCQ-24 and UWES-17 as the measure tools and analyzed by the methods of variance analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and other statistical methods to researching.Based on studies and theoretical analysis on these three research variables,this study focus on the following issues:(1)To examine the differences between different demographic variables when measuring medical professionals' Compassion Fatigue,Psychological Capital and Work Engagement.(2)Analyse the relationship among the Compassion Fatigue,Psychological Capital and Work Engagement of medical professionals'.(3)Analyse the Psychological Capital as the intermediary role between the Compassion Fatigue and the Work Engagement of medical professionals'.Through the above analysis,the conclusions are as follows:(1)The Compassion Fatigue of the medical professionals' is beyond the medium level.The Psychological Capital and Work Engagement of the medical professionals' is beyond the medium to high level.(2)Medical professionals' Compassion Fatigue,Psychological Capital and Work Engagement vary significantly on some demographic variables.(3)There's a significant negative correlation between the medical professionals' Compassion Fatigue and Work Engagement.(4)There's a significant negative correlation between the medical professionals' Compassion Fatigue and Psychological Capital.(5)There's a significant positive correlation between the medical professionals' Psychological Capital and Work Engagement.(6)Medical professionals' Psychological Capital works as the intermediary role between the Compassion Fatigue and the Work Engagement.This study draws the following conclusions:The Compassion Fatigue has negative effect on medical professionals' Work Engagement.On the other hand,the Psychological Capital helps improve the ability of bearing the Compassion Fatigue and then effect the Work Engagement.This conclusion enriches the theories about Work Engagement and what's more,it lays the groundwork for both theoretical and practical study on the Work Engagement of this country.It will help to improve and perfect the framework of theories on the Occupational Health Psychology.
