The Study On The Vocabulary Of Yunyang Dialect

Yunyang dialect is one of the representative dialects of The southwest mandarin in north Hubei Section.This paper mainly discusses the vocabulary system of Yunyang dialect.Because of the special geographical and historical factors,Yunyang dialect not only retains a lot of Jin language features,but also influenced by the surrounding dialects which belong to Central Plains Mandarin,Southwest Mandarin and Jianghuai Mandarin.Now the research on Yunyang dialect mainly focuses on the phonetic aspects,and lacks systematic analysis of dialect vocabulary.Compared with Mandarin,Yunyang dialect vocabulary has its characteristics,mainly reflecting in four aspects:Additional morphology,Overlapping word-formation and Overlapping configuration,Special word-formation of Sound-divided.Based on the field investigation,this paper makes an objective and detailed analysis of the lexical system of Yunyang dialect by using language comparison method.
