Regional history and geography is the important direction and branches of the study of historical geography.The research results of regional historical geography have been very rich all along.Regional historical geography is to study the change of a region in different historical periods from the perspective of historical geography Make up the traditional history and geography of the lack of regional research.The Qing Dynasty laid the foundation for China's current administrative divisions.As an important administrative division in Anhui in the Qing Dynasty,Suzhou's status was very important.Suzhou originated earlier and began to have a "host country" from the Zhou dynasty.However,it did not establish a true sense of establishment until the Tang Dynasty and ruled that it was a subordinate county,laying a solid foundation for the development of Suzhou in the future.From the beginning of the Tang Dynasty The Qing Dynasty lasted for more than a thousand years.With the development of history,Suzhou became a political,military and economic center in Northern Anhui Province and became a strategic point to connect North and South.From the late Tang Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty,Suzhou was always in the middle of the war.Long-term turmoil and long-term turmoil in the Yellow River have made Huai River into the sea a long time.It became the root cause of the frequent disaster in Suzhou.For nearly three hundred years in the Ming Dynasty,there was a rare steady and rapid development in Suzhou Period,Suzhou has become Fengyang Prefecture and even Anhui water transport.However,after the Qing Dynasty,Suzhou suffered a series of cruel war baptisms and disasters,which seriously hindered the normal development track.Although the massive war no longer occurred after the establishment of the Qing Dynasty,the glories of Suzhou and Northern Anhui lagged behind those of other regions gradually due to the long war and famine in the Ming and Qing dynasties and early Qing Dynasty,so the development of Suzhou in the Qing Dynasty In an important period,it is also a turning point to a certain extent.During this period,it had an important and far-reaching impact on the political,economic and cultural development of Suzhou in the future.There are a lot of historical and geographical contents in the study area,but there are few researches on the history and geography of the area in Anhui and Suzhou.Perhaps because of commonalities between Suzhou and other areas in northern Anhui,most of the academic circles regard the northern part of Anhui Province or the whole of Huaibei as the research object,History,politics,economy and culture.However,there are commonalities and individualities.Therefore,this article hopes to enrich the historical geography of Anhui Province through the study of the historical geography of Suzhou in the Qing Dynasty.Studying the historical geography of Suzhou in this period can form a new understanding of the historical development of Suzhou in the Qing Dynasty,understand the state of development of Suzhou in the Qing Dynasty,including a series of researches on nature,humanities,social economy and so on,Development context and basic understanding of the historical conditions of Suzhou development and realistic elements for the future development of Suzhou and Huaibei provide historical experience and lessons learned.Explore the New Development Ideas of Suzhou with the Unique Vision of Historical Geography.This article divides into four parts,studies the historical geography of Suzhou in the Qing Dynasty from three broad directions:(1)The first part:The first part of the study of regional historical geography is to determine the geographical scope and current research status of the study.Therefore,the introduction and the first chapter of this article introduce the current situation of regional historical geography and the historical natural geography of Suzhou.(2)The second part:The second chapter is about the main historical and geographical elements of Suzhou,including natural and human geography.Is the focus of this article.(3)The third part:The third chapter is the study of natural disasters in Suzhou in the Qing Dynasty,focusing on the evolution of the relationship between people and land in this area.(4)The last is the conclusion,summarizing the influence of geographical environment on the social and economic development of Suzhou during the historical period,analyzing the historical and geographical background of Suzhou development,and providing constructive reference for the future development of Suzhou and even the Northern Anhui Province.
