The architectural space in the Book of Songs is based on its architectural description,in the description of the buildings, including the city buildings, the palace buildings and the garden buildings. In the description of these buildings, most are simple and concise, rare chapters are elaborate. These architectural-related descriptions are very valuable. On the basis of these architectural descriptions,we can see that there are two distinct spatial sequences in the Book of Songs, one is the space sequence in the city layout, the other is in the palace arrangement spatial sequence.Combining the common classification methods of architectural space types and the specific description of the Book of Songs,we can divide the space of the Book of Songs into the ritual building space, the daily home space, the public leisure space and the gray space. Then we will discuss the space spirit.Ritual architecture space is an important part of the architectural space of the Book of Songs. The architectural space under the influence of Zhou Dynasty ritual culture can be seen in many parts of the Book of Songs,It can be divided into sacrificial space, court space and feast space. The daily home space is different from the ritual building space, its pursuit of peace is the spirit of space.Lingtai and the East Gate is the Book of Songs representative of the public space for leisure. However, with the public space for leisure, which embodies the spirit of space is heterogeneous.Gray space in the Book of Songs seen less, but it has a far-reaching significance of the history of literature, where the walls of later literary works which is widespread,no doubt from the Book of Songs for the description of gray space began. The architectural space in the Book of Songs starts from the depiction of quality architecture. The different types of architectural space enrich the aesthetic connotation and literary value of the Book of Songs through different angles.
