Thai Elementary Chinese Comprehensive Course Based On ASSURE Model Teaching Design Of The Elder Brother Or The Elder Sister Is The Higher One

The ASSURE model is a new teaching method that utilizes multimedia in the activities of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.At present,this model has been widely used in many teaching activities.In the concrete teaching practice,how to apply media intermediary to specific teaching is still needed to be studied.This paper will firstly analyze the students' precision,then select the media materials,and make the media materials play a real role in the teaching,so as to improve the teaching effect.In this paper,research idea is mainly combine theory study and practice,the investigation and study,comparative analysis,inductive deductive research methods,such as,closely around "the ASSURE model are used to expand the application of elementary Chinese comprehensive course in Thailand.This thesis is designed in five parts:Part one is introduction.The purpose of the thesis subject,the meaning of it and works are introduced in this part;Part two is analysis of instructional design and the relative theories.In this part,the overall teaching environment in Thailand,selected textbooks,and choices of teaching methods are analyzed.Part three is elaborating the instructional design.In part 3the ASSURE-model-based,detailed instructional design for the text of ‘the Elder Brother or the Elder Sister Is the Higher One' in comprehensive Chinese class is explained.Part four is evaluation and reflection.This part sees: 1,the evaluation of the effect of the application of ASSURE model in class,concerning feed backs of students' learning and the teaching objectives;and 2,the reflection upon the effect of the effectiveness of the ASSURE model in the comprehensive Chinese class.And based on these two aspects,advice is brought forth for the improvement of the teaching of the comprehensive Chinese class.Part five is the end.In this last part,the significance of the ASSURE model is concluded.Through the above process,this paper explains what the ASSURE mode is,why we choose the mode and how to use the mode to guide the teaching,so as to solve the problems in Chinese teaching.
