On Family Ethics Relations In Yu Hua's Novels

With its rebellious and radical gesture,the avant-garde literature as a new force has suddenly sprung up.Thus,Yu Hua should be recognized as the representative when we talk about the main characters of self-alienation,absurdity and spiritual trauma in the works.Yu Hua has such close relationship with the avant-garde literature that they look like"brothers".They both can not be separated from each other since 1980s,and his works with a strong impact on the vast number of readers display the charm of avant-garde literature.By comparing the two stages of Yu Hua's creation,this paper tends to explore the evolution of the relationship between husband and wife,father and son,and brothers in his works;as well as make a brief analysis of the subversion and reconstruction of his views on family ethics,and affirm his achievements in literary creation after constant innovation and efforts.In the introduction part,the paper briefly summarizes the research status of Yu Hua's works,then puts forward problems and refines ideas starting with the research status on family ethical relationship in Yu Hua's works.In the first chapter,the paper states that marriage is the foundation of family relations,and summarizes the development of relationship between husband and wife in the works of Yu Hua by studying on hopeless marriage,marriage with betrayal,marriage with accompany and the ideal marriage.In the second chapter,the paper states that relationship between father and son is the core of family ethics,and the parent-child relationship will be summarized as the opposite period,repairing the cracks,to achieve identity,interpretation of warmth,and finally go into the ideal and harmonious realm.In the third chapter,the paper states the relationship between brothers is the inheritance of family ethics,and it will be summarized as brothers lacking of brotherhood,lonely brothers,the righteous brothers and the missing brothers.In the fourth chapter,the paper tries to analyse the indecision and anxiety behind the subversion of family ethics.Yu Hua tried to rebuild family ethics by suffering and warmth and do his most to attain it.It is acknowledged that his successfully-established spiritual home will give the readers spirit comfort,but in fact it is impossible to achieve and takes a long time and efforts.In the conclusion part,it affirms Yu Hua's role in building a spiritual home and thinks about the the problems he avoided in the reconstruction of family ethics.
