The Introduction Practice On Zhalong Wetland Scenic Spot In Qiqihar City

The year 2016 is considered as a magnificent year for China's tourism.In this year,�mass tourism� has been written in the Report on Government Work.In the 13 th Five Year Plan,the tourism industry has been promoted as the strategic pillar industry.The concept of holistic tourism destinations development represents the direction of modern tourism.In order to promote regional economic development of Tsitsihar,the author was commissioned by Tourism Bureau of Tiefeng District,Qiqihar to translate the text of Zhalong Wetland tourism attraction into English,thus publicizing the featured scenic spot of local Tsitsihar,mobilizing the local tourism's development,rapidly promoting the development of tourism resource culture and improving the relative advantage of tourism culture resource.Moreover,the local tourism image will be improved on the previous basis;the tourism culture knowledge and tourism economy will be closely integrated,thus driving the vigorous and rapid development of the whole region's tourism economy.Taking translator's subjectivity as theoretical foundation and case analysis as guiding,the research adopts methods of description and analysis to discuss problems encountered during translation from the perspectives of vocabulary translation and sentence translation,then to find translation strategies out to solve problems.The paper is a report of translation practice based on translating Introduction to Zhalong Nature Reserve in Qiqihar City.The report briefly introduces the client,contents of task and significance of such translation.Review the whole process of such translation,which includes preparation before translation,translation course and conclusion after translation.Case analysis which combine theory with practices is the key of such report of translation.Taking translator's subjectivity as the theoretical direction,the report gives full play to translator's subjective initiative,and flexibly adopts various kinds of translation strategies to solve problems encountered during the translation.Finally,experience and achievement will be reached;meanwhile,existing problems and shortcomings will be pointed out,too.Hope such report about translation practice will provide helpful references for related sections who are responsible for propaganda work for tourist attractions in Qiqihar and for translators who will translate similar text about local tourism attractions.
