Known as Li Erqu,Li Yong, whose style name was Zhongfu, was the most important representitive of Neo-Confucianism.The core of his Erqu Neo-Confucianism was called Flash, which originated from the Buddhism, was explicated by Wang Yangming,Wang Longxi and Liu Jishan and gradully became the most important concept of Confucianism at the beginning of Qing Dynasty.Having absorbed previous chievements,Erqu 's Flash not only reflected the eternal value of the Natural Law,but also objectified human's instant thinking, being both nutural and mortal, physical and mental, initial and terminal, essential and functional and eternal and temporary. Therefore, the Flash Theory was a trinitarin theory, including"noumenon and function","knowing and doing" and "moral practice".First, regarding the Flash as the popularity of origins and essence and the unitfication of Wang Yangming's theory on conscience.Based on the structure of traditional Neo-Confucianism,-natrual law, disposition and heavenly principles, conscience,Erqu developed his theory into a more exquisite and strict origin-essence one-"Neo-Confucianism,natrual law, disposition and heavenly principles, conscience, then flash".Second,Erqu used flash to unit the noumenon and the funchtion and knowing and doing.According to empirical nature of flash,he demonstrated that the noumenon could be seen in the function and knowing could be reflected by doing. What is more, according to the innate nature of flash,he also explixited his theory by proving that the function was based on the noumenon and doing followed knowing. At last,Erqu put together "moral practise for nounmenon" with flash and put forward cultivating reverence through flash, advocating tranquilization through flash and being cautious alone through flash. In addition,he also revealed the close connection between flash and "moral practise for nounmenon" by coming up with“flash could be everything",which is equal to one and many, constance and change, origina and end, distinction form righteousness and profit, kindness and wickedness and return to be kind.Erqu communicated with the conscience of innate wisdom of heart with personal spontaneous and conscious flash, avoiding the empty and shallw of lacking daily moral practise for nounmenon when it comes to the conscience of noumena. It is another development of Wang Yangming's theory.Futhermore,Erqu combined being respectful, advocating tranquilization, being cautions alone, investigating things with Flash, requiring real learning and actual effect and stressing the coexistence of physics and conscience. He combined Lu Wang's ontology with Cheng Zhu's“moral practise for nounmenon",making it more integrated for both theory. At the beginning of Qing Dynasty, the application of theories was the theme of academy, bringing the transition from Neo-Confucianism to utilitarian theory and metaphysics to physics. Thus,Erqu's Flash Theory was one of the most important parts in the process of making Neo-Confucianism practical at the beginning of Qing.Liang Qichao maintained that the school movements in Qing was more of form movements than argumentation movements?Morden scholars prefer to conclude the characteristics of Erqu's theory with“repent and start anew"and“master the body(noumenon)then elaborate the function of it",which, however, only shows the application part of Erqu's theory without enough exploration and analysis on the"embodying the loftiest ideal" and focus on the Flash Theory. We should focus it is a complement of academic research to explore and analyse the chacreacteristics of Erqu's theroy, reveal its theoretical altitude and overview its acdemic structure on the basis of the Flash Theory. On the other hand,it can prove that at least there were argumentation movements at the begining of Qing Dynasty.
