With the rapid development of information technology in recent years,people’s living standards and consumer demand have also increased significantly.With the acceleration of pace of life,the pressure that people bear is also growing.Nowadays,urban population is not only pursuing material things,they are having more psychological needs.In this context,the word “healing series” came into existence.There is also an increasing demand for “healing series” in modern life.Most people with psychological problems are not aware of their problems or are not willing to go to the hospital for psychological treatment.The design of healing series illustrations has the function of certain psychological adjuvant therapy.People can integrate into the illustrations by appreciating art works and change their own perception and behavior through the emotional experience,which just can help such group of people improve on their psychological problems.The theme of this study is the design of healing series illustrations for the sub-health psychological status widely existed in the society.And apply the design in the packing of consumer goods,so as to achieve the effect of adjuvant therapy for psychological problems.Most people in high-pressure environments have begun to pursue spiritual sublimation and seek true self in their life.Packaging design is also an important factor influencing the purchase of goods.At present,the packaging of many goods in China still can only satisfy the general aesthetic demand.Changes need to be made on this aspect.Packaging with healing series illustrations will help people solve their psychological problems in the process of consumption,and to achieve emotional appeal of psychological purification.As time passes,this packaging design will long live in people’s mind and become popular among the public.It will not only increase the creativity,attract people’s attention,but will also increase the added value of goods to add healing series illustrations on the packaging of goods.Starting with the healing series illustrations,one of the media of art therapies,this paper carries out a creative study on the daily healing effect and ways of art therapy from the perspective of clients.First of all,it expounds the definition of healing series illustrations,analyzes the characteristics of healing series illustrations,introduces the causes of the emergence and popularity of healing series illustrations,and explores the aesthetic characteristics that healing series illustrations should have as works of art.In addition,it also conducts social survey,investigating the problems that widely exist among urban young people and their cognitive abilities of these problems.It explores the relevant psychological knowledge and art therapy approaches that are used in healing series illustrations.In the end,this paper illustrates the feasibility of healing series illustrations for the treatment of psychological problems among young people in urban areas.From the perspective of cognitive neuroscience and psychology,it investigates the color emotion,design techniquesand detail processing of healing series illustrations and the application of aromatherapy infiltration and materials,lines,and pattern,and green packaging.Through the survey,it summarizes the design that can reduce stress and treat psychological problems recognized by young people between 20 and 30 years old and concludes a series of design techniques of healing series elements successfully used in practice.This study is aimed at the healing series visual design on illustrations and applying it in the packaging of consumer goods,so as to help people alleviate stress and enhance their physical functions and mental health level when they are under great pressure.It also provides some reference for relevant designers in the design of the healing series.At the same time,we hope to fill in some theoretical gaps in the design of packaging with healing effect.
