On The Influence Of Pre-interpretation Preparation On Interpretation Quality In French To Chinese Consecutive Interpretation

In practice,before interpreting,preparation is essential.The preparation of interpreting is mainly divided into two aspects: pre-interpretation preparation and short term interpretation preparation.If you don't have enough preparation before the meeting,you can not assure the effect of the interpretation.Pre-interpretation preparations include language proficiency in native languages and foreign languages,knowledge of background and common sense,basic skills of interpretation,non-verbal preparation,etc.Pre-interpretation preparation is mainly about preparation of a specific interpretation task,including preparation of material for the meeting.Professor Daniel Jill "cognitive load model" is put forward,in order to ensure good interpretation effect,when interpreting the demand of the cognitive load must be less than the cognitive load the brain can provide,a good preparation can reduce the cognitive load of interpreters by reducing the problem triggers in interpretation.Given the importance of the interpretation preparation,this paper mainly discusses how preparation affect the target language interpretation,the target language fluency,the accuracy of the terms,the accuracy of the information and the confidence of the interpreter.Then,this paper discusses how to make efficient interpretation.This paper selected the mock conference of 2017 international transportation,through the analysis of the case to illustrate the importance of the preparation,its influence on the target language,and how to effectively prepare before interpretation.
