Research And Practice On Cultural And Creative Product Design Based On The Firing Techniques Of Nixi Earthenware

The progress of society and the rapid development of globalization have transformed people's needs in recent decades;therefore,the central task of design has shifted from human-oriented to society-oriented,and from designing objects to satisfying cultural and spiritual needs.The Firing Techniques of Nixi Earthenware is a state-level intangible cultural heritage,which is a national industry with regional characteristics.How to strengthen the geographical advantages based on local culture in order to maintain the national characteristics and allow the inheritance of Nixi earthenware handicraft;and how to effectively preserve The Firing Techniques of Nixi Earthenware in modern society in order to keep the balance of its traditional skill between localization and globalization is a very meaningful and challenging research topic.This paper conducts field research in the Shangri-La region by community research,interviews with local residents,non-genetic inheritance learning and local data compilation.This field research is to analyze the local culture and the Nixi Earthenware Handicraft,study local cultural characteristics and combine the modern design theory in order to study and practice of cultural innovation product design.It aims to promote the development of the region's economy and culture by disseminating its special culture and products;and conduct a preliminary discussion on the inheritance of The Firing Techniques of Nixi Earthenware.
