A Study Of Chinese Cultural Words With The Perspective Of Cultural Dissemination And Identity From Domestic And Foreign Dictionaries

Cultural self-confidence is the most fundamental and long-lasting intrinsic motivation for the development of the nation and the nation.It is of great significance and value to establish cultural self-confidence in building a powerful socialist country with Chinese characteristics.An important way to achieve cultural self-confidence and carry forward Chinese culture is to "go global with Chinese culture." This requires that we first of all seek to disseminate and recognize the actual situation of Chinese culture abroad and then propose policies and measures for the spread of Chinese culture.As a business card of Chinese culture,Chinese culture is a bridge connecting Chinese culture.This paper mainly compares the definitions of Chinese cultural words in the Chinese-English dictionary by comparing them with each other,and innovatively proposes to investigate the spread and recognition of Chinese culture abroad from the perspective of cultural words.With a view to provide suggestions for the strategy of going global for Chinese culture in the future.The thesis is divided into five parts,the contents of each part are as follows:The first part is the introduction.Mainly includes the research background,the research object,the source of the research corpus,the research summary,the research mentality,the research method,the research purpose and the significance.The first chapter introduces the operative preconditions of the dissertation,including the theoretical basis and methodological basis.Among them,the theoretical basis includes the relationship among dictionaries,languages,and cultures,the role of Chinese cultural words in cultural communication and identity,the structural theory of meaning,language contact and cultural contact,cultural communication and cultural identification;Comparative lexicography as a guide,from the perspective of comparative vocabulary interpretation.The second chapter is the comparison between the cross-strait cultural word definitions and the study of the Chinese culture on both sides of the strait.From the perspective of the contrast of cultural words,we first analyze the reasons for the differences in the number of cultural meanings between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.Then we make a comparative analysis of the relationship between the meanings of the cross-Strait dictionaries through the types of semantic bridges and semanticmeanings.Under the guidance of the microcosmic structure,we compared and analyzed in detail the similarities and differences in interpretation of Chinese and English cultural words on the two sides of the Straits.We found that the differences in interpretation of cultural words are basically the same basic meaning,basic meaning is basically the same,and the accompanying meaning is the same,and the basic meaning is basically the same.The same but with different collusion,basic meaning is basically the same but the different semantics,basic meaning is basically the same,but the meaning of accompaniment and justice is different,the different meaning of the basis is different and the different meaning is different.Finally,based on the cross-strait interpretation of cultural words,the two sides of the Strait summarize the identification and differences of Chinese culture.The recognition of cross-Strait cultural identities includes the same cultural elements in the same cultural category,the same understanding of the same cultural element and the same understanding and development of the same cultural element.The differences in cultural identity between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait show the difference in cultural reservation,the difference in cultural connotation and the development of cultural connotation Differences,etc.And analyzes the political,economic factors,technological development factors,cultural and psychological factors are the key to cross-Strait cultural identity.The third chapter is the comparison of the meanings of the Chinese cultural words in Chinese and English dictionaries and the research of Chinese culture overseas communication.First of all,we classify the Chinese cultural words included in English dictionaries from material culture,institutional norms culture and psychological concept culture,and summarize the paraphrase characteristics of Chinese cultural words in English dictionaries.Then we focus on the comparative analysis of Chinese cultural words in English dictionaries It is concluded that the definitions of Chinese cultural words in the Chinese-English dictionary are basically the same as those in the English-Chinese dictionary.The basic definitions are the same.The definitions of the English dictionaries are basically the same.General deviation from the basic meaning and other five kinds of situations,and concluded that the definition of Chinese cultural words in the English dictionary has the characteristics of unity,objectivity andgeneralization.Finally,according to the contrast of the meanings of the Chinese cultural words,this paper analyzes the overseas knowledge of the Chinese culture from the two aspects of the difference between the objective cognition of culture and the difference of cultural cognition,mainly including the objective of cultural understanding,the misunderstanding of cultural understanding,the cultural awareness and cultural awareness One-sided and other four kinds.The last part is the conclusion.First of all,it summarizes the research of this article,and then discusses the necessity of compiling a dictionary of Chinese cultural words.Second,it points out some shortcomings in this study.Finally,it discusses the possible future expansion of this paper.
