Language Use Survey Of The Dai Nationality In Yuanjiang

Dai is an ancient nantionality in China,mainly based in the south,middle and northwest of Yunnan,and Huili county,Yanbian county of Sichuan province which along the Jinsha river,also have a small amount of Dai resident.Research on the use of minority language is an important part of Chinese language Research,it is an significant way to recognize the language situation,characteristics and evolution law of minority nationalities.This article is a case study of the Dai nationality in Yijiao village,Lijiang town,Yuanjiang county in Yunnan province,using sociolinguistic survey method,supplemented by questionaire survey,language testing and observation methods,studying on the language use of the Dai people in Yinjiao,and get the general feature of the Dai people: Firstly,Dai language is a significant communicative tool in the daily life of the Dai people in Yinjiao village.Secondly,the Dai nationality of Yinjiao village is commonly used in Chinese,which is Dai-Chinese bilingual.Thirdly,the ability of speaking the Dai language of the youth drops slightly.This article analyzed the formative factors of the use of mother tongue and combination language by the perspective of gender,age and degree of culture,which inspected the Dai people's attitude towords the two languages.Youth is the most sensitive and rapid age for the change of a language society.Analyzing the language use characteristics of teenagers,and language selection in different language domains.In terms of using the of language,the problems and forming factors in the language use of Dai nationality are summarized.
