The Study Of Cai Ju-hou's Poetry Criticism

Cai Kuan-fu Poetics has a broad content,detail textual research,pertinent evaluation and unique opinion.It praises highly of nature,trying hard to refine the word and expressing itself exactly.It also opposes to using arbitrary and discretional words,avoids deviation and over-quotation.Its textual research is erudite,meticulous and reasonable.Its evaluation is equitable and appropriate.Cai Kuan-fu Poetics is one of the valuable poetics in the song dynasty which has always been widely quoted by the critics.Poetic History is more about poetry stories,but it also reveals penetrating judgments sometimes.This article takes the author of Cai Kuan-fu Poetics and Poetic History who named Cai Ju-hou as the research object,focusing on himself and his criticism of ancient poetry criticism,in order to make a more comprehensive study of Cai Ju-hou's poetic thoughts.This article is divided into three chapters:Chapter One:The textual research about Cai Ju-hou.Academic circles haven't reached an agreement about the author of Cai Kuan-fu Poetics,so first of all,studying on its author.Secondly,studying on Cai Ju-hou's extraction,lifetime and official career,thought and character,poetic creation,analyzing and integrating related data to make the character of Cai Ju-hou fuller and know profounder about his poetic criticism.Chapter Two:Cai Ju-hou's poetic criticism in various dynasties.This chapter is divided into three parts which expounds Cai Ju-hou's poetic criticism in accordance with the order of the times.The first part mainly involves the poetic criticism of the pre-Qin period and the two Han dynasties to the six dynasties.The second part mainly involves the poetic criticism of Tang dynasty.The third part mainly involves the poetic criticism of the early Song dynasty.Chapter Three:The opinion of Cai Ju-hou's poetry criticism.This chapter is based on Cai Ju-hou's poetry criticism in various dynasties,concluding three main opinion of Cai Ju-hou's poetry criticism.In addition,Cai Ju-hou has unique comprehension about calligraphy.
