The Historical Conception Of Li Rui's Novels

Li Rui is one of the most important writer in the Chinese contemporary literature scene.His novels regard history as the object of expression.The historical narration is not only the main content of the novel,but also the method of setting the plot of the novel and shaping the characters.Li Rui has a unique and distinct view of history.He pays more attention to the social and cultural connotations of history and often transforms specific historical events into spiritual phenomena to explores the motivation for the formation and development of history.Therefore,in order to study Li Rui's novels,we must clearly sort out the historical conception of Li Rui.Meanwhile,Li Rui's view of history is not imposed on the plot and characters by the author's subjective will,but is hidden between historical narration and personal narration.The thesis analyzes the historical conception of Li Rui's novels by means of textual reading and sociological analysis.The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly focuses on the selection of historical themes by Li Rui's novels,as well as the author's and the narrator's positions in the novels which clarifies Li Rui's novels from the perspective of history.The second chapter focuses on the structure adopted by Li Rui when starting historical narration which highlights the historical holistic view of Li Rui's novels.The third chapter discusses the intrinsic motivation of Li Rui's historical narration,which is not only the structure of the narration of the novels,but also the inner manifestation of Li Rui's historical view.The fourth chapter focuses on the historical metaphor in Li Rui's novels,which represents the core value of Li Rui's novels.The thesis aims to clarify the significance of Li Rui's writing in contemporary literature by studying the historical conception of Li Rui's novels,exploring its neglected value and also providing a paradigm for the historical writing of contemporary literature.
