| Under the new situation of internationalization of higher education in China,Chinese colleges and universities are facing new requirements for improving the quality of the courses rather than the quantity of the lessons in the education of foreign students.At the same time,we must develop a multi-dimensional talent education mode instead of the single teaching management way of the past.A Survey of China,a compulsory course for foreign students in China,which can help them understand the Chinese culture objectively,comprehensively,and profoundly.The author wants to put forward effective measures for foreign students to know and fall in love with china by the research of cultural education in A Suvey of China,which would also play a big role in providing new impetus and idea for the cultivation of foreign students.Combined with the characteristics of A Survey of China,this paper defines the target and the principle of cultural teaching from the general situation and characteristics of culture teaching in the field of Chinese for foreigners.The author takes Zhejiang University as an example,investigates the state of A Survey of China and its effect in cultural teaching,analyzes the main problems of cultural teaching in the course through questionnaire survey,classroom observation and personal interview.The author finds that the cultural teaching in the course now has a positive effect on expanding the cultural knowledge,mastering the cultural skills,and cultivating a good cultural attitude for foreign students of Zhejiang University.Basing on those investigations,the author proposes some relevant solutions of cultural teaching in A Survey of China so as to make top-quality curriculum,which highlights the practicality of cultural teaching.With the help of Internet platform and extracurricular cultural activities,colleges and universities are confident of building a multi-channel and all-round teaching system for foreign students. |
