Research On Symbol Design Of Cultural Creative Block Based On Regional Culture

Symbol,used frequently to represent object,word and tale,plays an important role in visual communication.It is extensively applied in signs,guides and advertising materials in signs,guides and advertising materials in public places because of its simplicity and intuitive.With the development of society and the renewal of city,the old urban area can no longer meet the needs of modern residents due to the backward supporting condition and imperfect management.How to transform becomes a new proposition of every city.At present,old urban area tends to be transformed towards cultural and creative blocks in China,and Jiqingli(Hankou,Wuhan),in urgent need of reform and planning,is also the case.This paper takes Jiqingli as the research object to explore how the symbol design of the cultural creative block can fully reflect the local cultura connotation with modern aesthetic standards,as well as to draw up a design scheme in order to provide some reference for the development of the urban development.
