There are similarities in terms of meaning and usage between near-synonymous monosyllabic-adjective and disyllabic-adjective with the same morpheme,which often confuses learners and causes errors.Furthermore related researches and analyses are far from meeting the needs of teaching Chinese as a second language.In view of the above,this dissertation will research into near-synonymous monosyllabic-adjective and disyllabic-adjective with the same morpheme.According to the concept of near-synonymous monosyllabic-adjective and disyllabic-adjective with the same morpheme,the author selected 90 pairs of words that satisfy the requirements from the vocabulary of Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus(Levels 1 to 6).The author also collected 169 errors from HSK dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,1700 Groups of Frequently Used Chinese Synonyms and daily life.Then based on the phrasing theories ‘Three Flats Surfaces',Interlanguage Theory,Error Analysis Theory,the author will summarize the types of errors and analyze the causes of errors and finally put forward related teaching strategies.This dissertation consists of five parts:Chapter ?,Introduction.This part will expound the background and significance,the literature review,and the theoretical basis of the dissertation.A brief explanation of the research method and corpus will also be made in this part.Chapter ?,A comparison of differences in near-synonymous monosyllabic-adjective and disyllabic-adjective with the same morpheme from three aspects: semantics,grammar,and pragmatics.The semantics mainly differs in semantic strength,semantic range and semantic application.Grammatical differences comprises those in syntax functions of attributive,predicate,adverbial and complement.Pragmatic analysis mainly focuses on the differences between spoken language and written language.Chapter ?,Organize and analyze errors.The author divides the errors of near-synonymous monosyllabic-adjective and disyllabic-adjective with the same morpheme into three categories: semantic errors,grammatical errors and pragmatic biases.Semantic errors can be found in semantic strength,semantic range and semantic application.Grammatical errors include whether to add "de" errors,negative errors,errors due to changes in parts of speech.And the misuse of written language and spoken language contributes to errors in pragmatics..Chapter ?,Exploring the causes of errors in near-synonymous monosyllabic-adjective and disyllabic-adjective with the same morpheme.The author believes that the reasons why there are errors in these two kinds of adjectives comprise the following aspects: intralingual interference which includes intralingual transfers and Chinese characteristics,interlingual interference,learner's strategies,which includes Simplification strategies and avoidance strategies.Chapter ?,Teaching strategies is put forward,they include teaching based on morpheme analysis,antonym replacement method,moderate demonstration of the errors,increased repetition rate of the words.
