Chinese characters teaching is one of the most important links in teaching Chinese as a Foreign language.The teaching quality of elementary Chinese characters plays an important role in Chinese learning in the later period.Based on the theory of teaching Chinese as a Foreign language,this paper makes a preliminary study on the elementary foreign characters teaching in the collage through the combination of theoretical research and practical investigation.This thesis expounds the significance of this article from the practical point of teaching,and introduces the research ideas and methods in detail,and also introduces some innovations in this paper.In addition,the thesis reviews the main research contents and methods related to the Chinese characters teaching to foreign learners in the background of academic research,which has certain reference significance for the article.Chinese teachers and students are the participants in the teaching of Chinese characters.Therefore,it is impossible to ignore the investigation and research on them.Therefore,this thesis makes a comprehensive survey and research on teachers' teaching and students' learning situations through various forms.The research and analysis of the survey feedback is an important part of this thesis.Finally,in order to effectively improve the poor state of foreign Chinese character teaching,the thesis analyses the reason and problems,and it also puts forward some suggestions on improving foreign Chinese characters teaching from four aspects.In the end,the thesis summarizes the content of this thesis.It points out the shortcomings of the research,and expects more colleagues to pay attention to the Chinese characters teaching to foreign learners.
