Yun Shouping's the painting theory of mainly concentrated in the Collection named Ouxiangguan,the work named Nantian about paintings,and other works.Some poems and letters he and Yun Daosheng,Wang Shigu,also contains profound painting theory.The concept of God is one of the most important concepts in his painting theory.On the basis of this concept,Yun Shouping also used the concept of heaven(??),shenqu(??)and shenji(??),and formed a concept group with God as the core.In the Qin and Han Dynasties,the God is a term in the religious terminology.Later,people gradually used it to criticize the poetry,music,painting and so on.In the period of the Wei and Jin Dynasties,the theory of Chuanshen(??)began to rise.The concept of God realized the transformation from religion to aesthetics,and became a special art concept or vocabulary.In the theory of Yun Shouping,God,which refers to the concrete human and immortal world,but also the highest realm(??)of painting can achieve.This state is beyond time and space,feelings and free fairy realm,is the active life to convey the spirit of the universe is one.Therefore,in painting criticism about Huang Gongwang(???),Ni Zan(??),Wang Hui(??),Yun Shouping using Guye Fairy(????),Lie Zi(??),such as myth images,and critic their paintings and form a distinctive critical strategy.
