Research On The Improvement Of The System Of Identification Of Genetically Modified Food

Since the 20th century, with the rapid development of genetically modified food. So far, however, there is still no scientific evidence to proof whether the genetically modified food is harmful. The debate and speculation about the genetically modified food is not stopped, but with more rapid speed, this will open up to the war all over the world. In the potential risk of genetically modified food is uncertain circumstances, system of gm food by moderate regulation of genetically modified food, allows countries to prevent risk and protect the development of transgenic technology. Identification of genetically modified food system in China, this paper aims to the analysis of the legislative status quo, to identify system existing problem, draw lessons from the advanced legislation experience outside of our country at the same time, combine the current situation, put forward suggestions for the improvement of the system of gm food.This article is divided into five parts, the first part introduces the genetically modified food and general situation of the basic system of gm food; The second part from the identification range, marks the subject, content, labeling method, the regulatory responsibility of the legislative status of genetically modified food label system in China is expounded; The third part mainly analyse from the legislative level and analyzed the existing problems in the system of our country's identification of genetically modified food; The fourth part introduces the United States, the European Union, Japan respectively adopt the system of gm food and gain enlightenment and experience; The fifth part mainly identification system of genetically modified food in China put forward some suggestions for perfecting.
