The Cuban revolution gained victory in 1959, and then announced the establishment of the socialist country later. After a series of political and economic reformations, Cuba's leaders wanted to introduce the revolution to other countries, especially Latin America and Africa, where the battles to pursue national liberation was still going on. However, after invading the Bay of Bigs, Cuba falled into isolation unprecedentedly in Latin America. Besides Mexico, other countries have broken off diplomatic relations with Cuba, and joined in the American trade embargo. In Latin America, the revolutionary road had been seriously hampered, Cuba aimed at Africa instead. After 1961, Cuba and the African countries united closely to achieve the national independence of African countries. In this process, Cuba's support for Algeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola became the main Cuba policy toward Africa in 1960 s, and meanwhile, Cuba began to substantially support the Angolan revolution.Cuba's involvement in Angola's national independence event was one of the most important parts of its plan to introduce revolution to Africa. In this process, Cuba mainly supported the MPLA, however the United States and South Africa support he solution matrix and UNITA on the contrary, which resulted in the aggressive battle. At the same time, the Soviet Union, Congo, China, and so on had been taken part in the activity to some degree. Cuba's involvement in the affairs of Angola was not only in the armed assistance, but also in the other areas such as medical health and education. Finally, the Angola in the help of Cuba and the Soviet Union and other countries achieved the victory of the national liberation battle. After this, Cuba also vigorously supported the battle for the liberation of other African countries. In the 60 s and 70 s of the 20 th century, Cuba interventions on African Affairs for African National Democratic Movement went smoothly, and helped Africa get rid off the yoke of colonialism, and expanded the Cuba's international influence and socialism in the world. However, Cuba did not continue to expand its influence after the independence of African countries, Cuba has been exhausted by its own relatively poor economic situation. Long term intervention on African affairs also cost a lot of manpower and material resources, which was not conducive to the long-term development of the country. Cuba's interventions on Africa were not only the active practice of Cuba's revolution introduction, but also was the specific embodiment of the Soviet Union during the Cold War era. What's more, though the involvement and interventions of Cuba, the United States and the Soviet Union made other countries in Africa be independent, it also increased the African political instability, and Africa still stayed in the turmoil. As the collapse of the Soviet Union happened, Cuba just actively protected themselves.
