Analysis On Influencing Factors Of Migrant Workers' Family Endowment

In China's rural family endowment is still the main mode of rural elderly endowment.But migrant workers leave their parents and migrate to cities,rural elderly endowment growing difficulties.Previous research literature of intergenerational support migrant workers has focused mainly on economic support,emotional support and living care or pension gender differences,etc.But to stand in the angle of the migrant workers family characteristics on research literature almost no migrant family endowment.This paper mainly studies the status quo of migrant workers family pension and the impact of migrant workers family characteristics of family endowment.This article uses the rural floating population development condition investigation data in 2013,the first description of family endowment difference under different basic situation,then use the Ordinal concrete analysis and OLS regression model family characteristics affect family endowment.Study found that(1)in the economic support of family pension: current situation analysis,the migrant workers aged 30-44,give parents the most money,the second is 45 years old and above of migrant workers,migrantworkers under 30 years old and for parents to provide economic support,at least life source by the children of migrant workers parents source of financial support is much higher than life by themselves and by the collective or the government of the old,couples go out together of migrant workers to the parents to provide the most economic support,husband and wife both inside and outside the division of migrant workers to provide financial support for the parents at least;Regression analysis,the husband decision-making model family role behavior,relative economic income level,her husband's relatively healthy level are positively correlated with economic support,that is to say,the husband than his wife a stronger is helpful for financial support of her parents,filial piety,the degree of understanding,to a certain extent of migrant workers and to listen to your parents for parents to provide financial support were positively correlated.(2)in terms of family endowment emotional support: the status quo analysis,women migrant workers or frequent contact with in-laws,or in-laws and not much contact,male than female migrant workers migrant workers are more likely to contact parents keep medium frequency,the more the more frequently the young migrant workers and parents contact,shorter working life of the more frequently the contact parents,living on their own main sources of migrant workers link between parents and their children,parents health than single connection alive and children;Regression analysis,the equal consultation type family role behavior has a positive effect on emotional support of family pension,husband relative economic income level and provide emotional support to her parents werepositively correlated;Degree of understanding and to listen to your parents filial piety migrant workers and provide emotional support to her parents were positively correlated.(3)in the aspects of family pension life care: the husband family role behavior decision-making type and relative economic income level has a significant negative effect on life care,that is to say,his wife to take care of the lives of the greater decision-making power to the parents to provide;The higher level of migrant workers understand filial piety,to care for the lives of parents.According to the empirical study conclusion,in view of the migrant workers family pension,this paper to strengthen the construction of ethics,the channels of pension and flexible work proposes measures to perfect the family pension system arrangement,etc.
