The Study On The Influencing Factors Of The Sense Of Dignity Of Urban Elderly

The urban old people's sense of dignity is an important aspect of urban old people's state of mind.Maintaining and promoting the urban old people's sense of dignity is the important link that achieve spirit cares for the aged.This research takes the urban old people's sense of dignity as a subject,discussed the influencing factors of the sense of dignity of urban elderly.And put forwards some suggestions to maintain and promote the urban old people's sense of dignity so that help to enrich the study of sense of dignity and spirit cares for the aged.This research mainly uses the interview survey procedure,carries on the random sampling in the Wuhan Hong Shan area and Jiang Xia area.We carried on the effective interviews to 150 elderly.We obtained the data and the writing material.According to the diagnosis results,there are many factors that influence the urban old people's sense of dignity,and the significant affects are as follows: the current employment situation of elderly,the economic situation of elderly,the cares from family members,the respects from social members,social participation,the adaptation of the change of the role and the environment.According to the diagnosis results,this article puts forward following several proposals to maintain and promote the urban old people's sense of dignity: promotes the participation of elderly;strengthens the live attendance and the emotion care to elderly;safeguards the legitimate rights and interests of elderly and impels the adaptation of elderly.
