With the rapid development of society, people's living standard is improving; our country has entered the aging population countries. Because retired after leaving the leadership, dramatic changes in work space and living space, the old leaders “psychological rage is more complex and diverse than the other old man. Analysis of retired leaders” physical health status and related factors, proposing optimization measures about service management both are important for maintaining good physical and mental health of retired leaders.The dissertation randomly selected 200 retired leaders who come from Tanggu district of Tianjin Binhai New Area as the respondents. With adopting self-compiled “Questionnaire about Retired Cadres' Mental Health”, we investigated the mental health of retired leaders, and evaluated the mental health of retired leaders from four aspects which are acknowledge, interpersonal, emotional and adaptation. We received a total of 200 valid questionnaires.We made quantitative processing about survey data by SPSS19.0 software, found that the average score of physical health of retired leaders is 46.52, the overall level were better. There were no significant differences in the total score of every factor and the mental health scores from different genders, different ages, different education, and different work units before retired, different administrative ranks leaders during working. But the total score of every factor and the mental health scores of retired leaders had significant differences in different kind of leaders, different family situation, different physical conditions, different pensions and various different hobby statuses leaders. In-depth analysis of different factors on the mental health effects of the situation, combined with the results of the analysis presented to optimize service management measures, including the right of self-awareness, and actively adapt to change; to play a role in adaptation, establish a good social support; strengthen service management, play old comrades heat, and so on.
