Study On The Human Rights Theory And Practice Of The Chinese Communist Party In The New Period

Human rights were developed along with the progress of human civilization development. As a concept from the West, human rights theory had gradually formed a relatively complete system through centuries of development. With the development of capitalism and the gradually exposed of its drawbacks, this theoretical system was criticized by thinkers such as Marx. It was developed into a scientific and revolutionary theory after Marx's new interpretation. As a political party of the working class, Chinese Communist Party inherited the Marx's theory of human rights.Then, with its improvement and development in the practice, it formed a theory system which was in line with China's national conditions and with Chinese characteristics.The practice of Marx's theory of human rights by Communist Party of China had experienced a long process. It was difficult to guarantee the people's basic human rights because of the internal disorders in the revolutionary period. Chinese Communist Party attached great importance to the protection of human rights from the date of its founding. The Communist Party of China was not the ruling party in this period yet, the practice of Marx's theory of human rights by Chinese Communist Party had experienced four stages: The Great Revolution period, the Agrarian Revolution period, the Anti-Japanese war period and the Liberation War period.China's human rights legislation had stepped on a new stage under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party after the establishment of new China, the socialist legal system was basically taken shape. The first socialistic Constitution of China- "May Fourth Constitution" guaranteed the enjoyment of human rights by our civil from the height of the Constitution, and it was also a major achievement of our Party in the field of human rights. The practice of human rights by our Party suffered a major setback during the "cultural revolution" period, then back on track after this frustration, and have made significant achievements in the field of human rights in new period. In short, the human rights theory of our Party was maturity gradually in practice at different times with distinctive characteristics, which was radically different from the west, and meeting the interests and demands of the masses actually.With the development of the times, the theory and practice of human rights of our Party will be more mature and improvement, and get the approval and support in the worldwide. As the largest developing country, we will acquire more voice on this matter to safeguard national benefits and word peace through the strengthen dialogue and cooperation in the world.
