Research The Role Of Rural Left-behind Women In The New Rural Construction

The Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)proposed to accelerate the pace of promoting the construction of new countryside,we should strive to develop all aspects of the rural economy,politics,culture and so on,to promote the development of new rural areas through transferring rural everything in our power.As the main participants of the new rural construction,the farmer is the main force.However,with the quickening pace of urbanization and industrialization in our country,a large number of rural surplus labor force,especially male labor,are moving to cities.Accordingly,a special left-behind women group emerged in rural area.They should not only care for the elderly and children,also engage in agricultural production,they shoulder the heavy burden of the family by themselves.Now the population of women who stayed behind for garrison in rural area accounts for more than half of the entire rural population,they played a main role in the new rural construction.But because of their own and other factors,their further development in the new rural construction may be hindered.As the important participants in rural construction,this is the major problems facing the socialist new rural construction,to how to let them play a role in the new rural construction,and solve the difficulties for rural left-behind women facing currently,which is the main issues to be discussed in this paper as well.This paper mainly discusses the following aspects in content:The first part: on the historical background of new countryside construction,we put forward that the transfer of rural male labor to the city led to the emerge of left-behind women group.As a major player in the construction of new countryside,it has significant meaning for themselves that how to arouse the enthusiasm of them and make them better to participate in the new rural construction.Through reading many domestic scholars research on left-behind women groups of data,we summarizes the current academia research status of them,finally put forward the innovation of the research topic in this paper,The second part: the empirical investigation and analysis,there are four small part.Firstly,we investigated the population distribution,administrative division,the geographical position,crop species in the Tsing Shan Tsuen of Yu'an District in Lu'an City.Secondly,we investigated survival present situation of left-behind women in Tsing Shan Tsuen,including their age,level of education,health,labor production,marriage and the emotion,leisure life and democratic political life.Thirdly,mainly based on the twenty words guideline of new rural construction,we analyze their role in the new rural construction,including as the main participants in the production of construction of new countryside development,as the pillar of family life,as the builder of rural civilization,as the supporter of the village neatly,as the pioneer of the democratic management.Fourthly,through the investigation and analysis,we concluded that some objective and subjective factors hindered the rural left-behind women to participate in the new rural construction to some extent,such as the low comprehensive quality,the error locating to them as the vulnerable groups,low economic status,women federation organization without enough guiding force and so on.The third part: put forward some suggestions for left-behind women in the resistance encountered in the new rural construction,from the aspects of left-behind women themselves,the society and the national policy,the perspective of ideological work.Such as improve their scientific and cultural quality and health quality,strengthen their subject consciousness,play leading role of mistress,establish a mutual cooperation organization,make full use of the advantage of women organizations,mobilize their enthusiasm and initiative,and establish related policy,protect their interests,encourage them to participate in the management affairs in our village.Finally,from the perspective of ideological and political education,make them to emancipate their mind,achieve their own development and make use of their advantages to make contributions to the construction of new countryside.
