In recent years,the " Crazy pursue being civil servants " phenomenon was continued concerned by society.Many college graduates also considered civil servant as an ideal career.Through examination,many rural origin college graduates successively entered to provincial government and municipal government as a civil servant.These rural origin new civil servants were away from their hometown,entered into the big cities which are entirely different from the rural country to settle and struggle,but as a result of the differences between urban and rural for a long time as well as not adapt to the civil service system,they met many problems in the process of its adaptation to the city.As the research object of this article,the rural origin new civil servants on one hand were eager to enter into the city and keen to take root in the city.On the other hand,they met many problems in the process of its adaptation to the city,anxiety,struggling to fight in order to adapt to urban life at the same time.There are several purposes to do research on rural origin new civil servants' city adaptation: Firstly,promote their adaptation to the city,improve their work efficiency and life happiness;Secondly,initiate the policy advocacy,provide a reference for the civil service system reform;Thirdly,change the public's cognitive biases to the civil servant group for a long time,enhance the government credibility.The article based on the bureaucracy,individualization and atomization theory as the main theoretical support.In the guidance of these theories,this article adopts the questionnaire and interview research methods,treats rural origin new civil servants in Nanchang Q district as the research object,using quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,according to career and life adaptation problems as perspective,from bureaucracy system,urban and rural dual cultural difference,income,marriage,career expectation and the social support network dimension to analysis the causes of rural origin new civil servants' urban adaptation.Through investigation and study found that rural origin new civil servants mainly face with career and life adaptation problem.Occupational adaptation problems mainly displays in: not adapt to the professional culture under the background of dissecting,not adapt to the local culture in city as well as the professional confusion that to give up or insist on within the system life in condition of not adapt to the occupation.Life adaptation problems mainly displays in: economic pressure and marriage distress.These reasons for inadaptation include: the system limitation of the dissecting,urban and rural dual cultural difference,economic pressure,the concept of marriage diversity,high occupational expectation,and lack of social support network.The author tries to alleviate their city adaptation through establish a mutual support group of social work,but the city adaptation they met is constructional which cannot be solved just rely on social work.So we need the social efforts to maximize solve their city adaptation.
