How big is the community cohesion depends on if it has the enough cultural identity, cultural identity for any community is priceless. Funeral culture as one of the identity culture is the result of Confucian filial piety and early totem worship, which is an important part of Chinese traditional culture. Although the funeral ceremony has different pattern of manifestation in different ethnic groups and in different regions, but it all reflects the same behaviors and spiritual beliefs of the human, funeral ceremony is the last farewell ceremony of the dead, the living to mourn for the dead, it also is a profound death education activity. For thousands of years, the funeral ceremony has maintained the ethics and morals, the continuity of cultural development and others so on. There are also emotional comfort, family aggregation and other positive social functions. With the impact of the market economy, the rural economic society and farmers' ideological consciousness has changed profoundly, the embedded of modernity has a full impact on the folk tradition rooted in the rural society and the traditional rural society is in transition and reform. Funeral rites in rural areas are no longer held in accordance with the traditional rules, even according to the original way, the implication is also very different from the original. Now there are many vulgarization phenomenon in the funeral rites of rural areas, such as tend to benefit, over entertainment, vulgar taste. Funeral ceremony has become a platform for some people to show off their wealth, fame and social status. Because of face, people arranged neither unreasonable nor economic activities to compare with others, hold the funeral ceremony which does not match the strength of its economy. In order to attract the audience, they will arrange “stripper” to perform in the funerals. The vulgarization phenomenon has seriously affected the normal life of the villagers; it's not conducive to the healthy growth of young people and hinders the construction of socialist spiritual civilization. Various reasons cause the funeral ceremony become vulgarization. For example, the country's legal system is not perfect, grassroots supervision is not in place, the reasons for the farmers themselves, etc. Funeral activity is a traditional custom in China, it both have positive and negative aspects, we should take the essence and discard the dross. We can't completely define the funeral activities as feudal superstition activities, but we also can't have any choice of the overall acceptance. Through the vulgar "stripper" performance attracts the audience's distortion of ideas should be discarded; we should resolutely resist the "stripper" performances in the rural funeral ceremony. The funeral ceremony is not a performance or a show. Through the study of funeral ceremony vulgarization phenomenon, this paper will proposed suggestions and measures from the following several aspects: improving the legal system, strengthening grass-roots departments of supervision, strengthening the construction of spiritual civilization and rich peasants spare time, hoping to contribute to the study of funeral ceremony.
