Research On The Community Grid Management System Based On Three-dimensional GIS

With the acceleration of the urbanization process, the community, as the gathering place of urban population, become an important object of urban management. For urban management, digital city has been the focus in recent years. Not surprisingly, the digital community, as an important part of the digital city, is also the focus of attention. No matter digital city or digital community, these are information platforms which are based on urban management mode or community management model in the theoretical or technical aspects. The construction of the platform is for management and service.As the traditional community management mode and method have been unable to adapt to the process of urbanization, the construction department has implemented the city grid management mode which has achieved good economic and social benefits. In order to adapt to the new management mode, it is necessary to promote the informatization, and to establish a grid information management platform which is in line with the grid management mode. Traditional platform shows the community environment in the form of two-dimensional map which is not intuitive. Three-dimensional form can express the plane relationship and the vertical relationship between the objects of community management, bring people real feelings and is more intuitive. Thus creating a vivid three-dimensional interactive scene for community management is necessary.By studying on the methods and processes to build three-dimensional model of the community by 3DMAX, Photoshop and Arc GIS, taking two-dimensional vector data, DEM, remote sensing image and 3D geometric objects as the database, we finally achieve the three-dimensional visual community environment; and develop a community grid management system in VS.net platform under the above environment. Because of the comprehensiveness of communiry information management, the system realizes the integration of community resources, which makes the community management more refined and efficient.
