The Research On Living Conditions Of The Elderly Parents Along With Their Children Moved To Beijing

At present,in the condition of large floating population and population aging rapidly,the young root in the city,also appeared a new group – the elderly parents moved with their children.The research adopts qualitative research method to study the living conditions of the elderly parents along with their children moved to Beijing,Taking nine elderly immigrants in B Community,Haidian district,Beijing as an example,in-depth interviews.On the basis of the first-hand information of three aspects: The daily life of the elderly parents moved to Beijing with their children,interpersonal communication conditions,psychological conditions.Through the research and systematic analysis,mining their living conditions in Beijing,revealing the implied characteristics.And also in-depth discussion and mining the elderly parents' subjective experience and feelings.To attempt to analyze their living conditions,to explore the problems these elderly parents moved to Beijing faced with.Finally,from personal elderly parents,families,communities and policy environment angles,putting forward the countermeasures and suggestions to solve these problems.The study found that the elderly parents moved with their children facing different degrees of adjustment problems,from living environment and eating habits in the daily life to behavior;From social interaction in the family internal generation communication to social interactions outside the family,facing some challenges.Through the analysis the writer found that the adaption of the elderly moved with their children affected by various factors,including: the old man's own character,physical health and interpersonal initiative,personal moving or subjective will,and his wife moved,the family relationship and family atmosphere,the degree of family care,community culture,community support,etc.Compared with the material level to adapt to the challenges,the elderly immigrants are more easier to produce impotencewhen they faced mentally problems,most elderly immigrants are still feel lonely,lack of the feeling of "home" after moving to the new environment,lacking the sense of belonging to the new place.Based on these,the author from the micro,meso and macro three aspects put forward corresponding countermeasures,in the micro level,the elderly immigrants should actively learning to adapt to the environment;The medium level,strengthen the function of family,the elderly immigrants' children should concern and understand their parents;The macro level,should strengthen the policy support,to carry out community service.Through the above methods,helping the elderly immigrants to adapt to their life,improving the quality of life,realizing the old-aged lives' providing.
