Network economic development has benefited from the progress and popularization of network technology.As product of the network economy,online shopping has changed the traditional way of doing business,and has a profound impact on people's daily consumption habits.To some extent,owing to the efficiency and convenience that online shopping has brought,it can not only save consumers' time,but effectively help reduce the economic costs.In the past,customers mainly shop through store.In this traditional shopping patterns,customer can feel the quality of goods and services.However,online shopping is built on a virtual trading platform,which means that consumers can not deal with the operators face to face and no longer feel the real-life experience which goods and services bring.Different from traditional trading ways of dealing face to face,to some extent,the virtual platform for online shopping hinders the real-life experience in this way,therefore making consumer protection face more and more new questions.Meanwhile,China's current status of protection is not complete,lacking of legislation,ineffective judicial remedies,and weak administrative supervision often let consumers' right to information not be protected by law in the online shopping process.Therefore,with the number of violations to online shoppers increasing so fast,the protection of consumers' right to know seems imminent.Research on this problem will have a far-reaching significance to the stability of the market order,and the healthy development of the network economy.This article is mainly divided into five parts.The first part is introduction.This part contains background information,significance,current situation analysis and the method outlined ideas.Besides,after these contents,there is a brief description of the highlights and shortcomings in the writing.The second part is the theory outline.Firstly,the article distinguished online shopping from traditional shopping in defining distinction,especially described the advantages and development trends of online shopping.Secondly,we gave a detailed description of relevant laws which related to the consumer's right to know,and on the basis of it,we analyzed the characteristics of the study,and focused on analyzing the importance of protection of consumer's right to know.The third part is the analysis of causes.Based on the combination of case studies and empirical research,the behavior of consumer fraud such as offering false information and false advertising have been analyzed.At the same time,we gave a comprehensive analysis of causes of damage to the interests of consumers,from the perspective of lacking awareness of consumer rights and legal laws.The fourth part introduces the enlightenment of overseas consumer protection legislation informed of the right to purchase network.In this part,the author briefly describes the origin and development of online shopping happened in European Union,the Organization for Economic Cooperation,Japan,South Korea,Germany,in order to promote China's online shopping consumer protection and give more awareness and enlightenment.The fifth part is countermeasures and suggestions.Based on the previous four-part analysis,we puts forward some suggestions mainly from five aspects,the clear responsibility and strengthened trading network monitoring,and so on.In order to protect the consumer's right to know online shopping,corresponding countermeasures research has been made to regulate market transactions network,make online shopping more convenient for consumers,and create a healthy business environment.
