Trade unions are statutory representatives of the interests of the broad masses of workers, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers is its basic duty. However, for a long time, faced with the strong employers and employers, the Chinese trade unions lacked the bargaining for equal consultation and negotiation, the failure of the mechanism of safeguarding the rights, the unbalanced balance of power and labor, and the lack of the independent exercise of the rights protection function. Predicament. December 2014, the CPC Central Committee issued "on strengthening and improving the work of the party group views", opened the prelude to the current round of group reform. In November 2015, the "National Federation of Trade Unions Reform Pilot Program", "Shanghai Mass Group Reform Pilot Program" and "Chongqing Municipality Group Reform Pilot Program" have been deliberated and passed, symbolizing the formal launch of group reform. In the reform of the system to improve the protection of workers and interests of the system and mechanisms to enhance the ability and effectiveness of protection, trade unions at all levels before becoming a major issue.On the basis of combing the object of safeguarding the rights and interests of the Chinese trade unions and the working mechanism of safeguarding the rights and interests of the trade unions in China, this paper analyzes the status quo of the weakening of the rights protection of the trade unions in China in the light of the cases encountered by the author in practice, Trade unions and grass-roots trade unions in the work of the prominent contradictions in labor rights, rights protection mechanism failure and the mass base of the outstanding problems, and from the trade union weakness, the marginalization of rights protection, trade union cadres to improve the quality and low efficiency of four ways Finally, combining with the reform policy of the mass organizations, the author puts forward the following four aspects: the protection of trade union autonomy, the optimization of rights protection system, the establishment of professional work team and the innovation of rights protection platform. And provide some theoretical basis and operational suggestions for the trade unions to grasp the opportunity of reform, give full play to their advantages in resources and policies, and reshape the authoritative authority.
