With the rapid development of information technology,the media has infiltrated into the daily life of the public,and become an important channel for the public to understand the outside information.And the media from the birth of the initial political and maintain a close relationship,and gradually become an important tool to spread the image of the government and the country.And the leaders of the countries is regarded as the personification of the national image,What they do will trigger a wave of public opinion,mass media and how to shape the leaders of image communication has become one of the hot topics in the academic circles are concerned with this year."People's Daily" as the official newspaper of Central Committee of the CPC and leaders reported the news have unshakable authority and guidance,in the leader's image building and communication plays a dominant role can not be ignored.Since 18,China's leaders has attracted a lot of attention,in the process of political democratization,interaction between leaders and the mass media is more and more frequent,the role and influence of the leaders of the media image of the have become increasingly prominent,under such a background,the construction of the media image of leaders and spread has important practical significance.In this article,from the perspective of communication,comprehensive use of journalism,image science,management science and other knowledge,to Xi Jinping,reports the people's daily of March 15,March 15,2013---2015 as samples,the construction and dissemination of a new generation of leaders of the media image of China for in-depth study.In this paper,the theory of agenda setting and frame analysis are used for reference.The paper analyzes the characteristics of the people's daily,the characteristics of Xi Jinping,the media image,and the reporting framework.First of all,this paper summarizes the current research situation at home and abroad,and briefly expounds the basic theory involved in the research,and establishes the overall theoretical framework of the study;Secondly,on the basis of sample and category analysis,the quantitative research based,analysis of the characteristics of "people's Daily" reported Xi Jinping,according to the features of Xi Jinping media image constructed by the people's daily,and analyzes Xi "people's Daily" reported the news frame;Finally,the "people's Daily" Xi Jinping reported the shortcomings of the analysis,and to explore the path of the optimization of the media image of the leader.
