The Predicament And Improvements For The Construction Of Community Correction Workers

In August 2002. China's community correction work in Shanghai was the first to carry out. After more than ten years of practice and exploration, China's community correction work is from the pilot to gradually enter the promotion and norms, getting rapid development. Meanwhile, participate in the work of community correction workers team building has also achieved stage results. Given that man is the first element of productive forces, community correction workers play an important role in promoting community correction work. This thesis adopts the methods combining theoretical analysis and empirical research methods, selecting the F city of Fujian Province as the research object. By means of questionnaire survey and interview method, through thorough and detailed analysis of the data obtained through questionnaire survey, it is found that this city's community correction in the construction of the team faced with many problems, such as unsuitable of management, lack of staff strength, short of execution of punishment, deficiency of specialization degree, staff mobility, bad of career identity sense, unobvious of volunteer role play. Finally, combining human resource management theory, aiming at the dilemmas of community correction team construction represented by F city, from the aspects of scientific establishment of community correction management system, optimizing the professional access system of community correction workers, strengthening professional training and education and training, enhancing the professional identity of community correction workers, increasing community participation in community corrections and strengthening legislation to achieve legal support.
