With the development of domestic waterway passenger transport industry,China's domestic waterway passenger transport includes passenger transport by sea,inland waterway passenger transport and passenger transport in other navigable waters between coastal ports.The main way of maritime passenger transport between coastal ports is liner shipping,inland waterway transport due to the development of other modes of transport in modern society,passenger traffic is on the decline.At the same time,the development of tourism makes inland waterway transport in the emergence of a growing number of travel and transportation and tourist passenger traffic increased year by year.With the development of the domestic shipping industry,our 2013 re-enactment and implementation of the domestic water.way transport regulations,abolished the previous waterway transport regulations.We established waterway passenger transport compulsory liability insurance system in the new Regulations.The passage is divided into four chapters in addition to this introduction and conclusion.The first chapter is a brief overview of waterway passenger transport characteristics and the need to establish compulsory liability insurance of mandatory waterway passenger transport in our country;The second chapter is the specific content of waterway passenger transport compulsory liability insurance,which analyzes the waterway passenger transport insurance compulsory insurance subject,determine waterway passenger transport compulsory and insurance liability limitation,clear the waterway passenger transport compulsory liability insurance Insurer and the insured and the insurer.The third chapter analyzes the waterway passenger transport compulsory insurance operation mechanism,describes waterway passenger transport business after obtaining the compulsory insurance or financial guarantee,how to obtain the compulsory insurance certificate issued by the relevant units;Secondly,it analyzes applications of the right to request a third person directly of waterway passenger transport in the compulsory liability insurance system.The fourth chapter are some suggestions for improving compulsory liability insurance of waterway passenger transport.
