A Study On The Relationship Between Ukraine And Russia After "The Orange Revolution"

Ukraine and Russia have more than 300 years of history,the two countries in the political,economic and cultural aspects of the formation of close ties.After the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991,Ukraine and Russia from the original accession to the Republic of the evolution of the two countries with independent sovereignty,which makes deep in the long history of the various problems highlighted.In addition,Ukraine is located in the hinterland of Europe,has a unique geographical value,strategic position is very important and sensitive to become Russia,the European Union,the United States compete for important countries.The internal and external factors of geopolitics make the relationship between Ukraine and Russia appear complex and special.Therefore,the development of the relationship between Ukraine and Russia is related to the future of the world structure,especially the geopolitical situation in Europe.After the end of the cold war,Ukraine swing foreign policy,not only to become a "regional power",but instead,the conflict with Russia,western countries often,their social and economic conditions and the level of people's life is more than independent before.By the end of 2004 in Ukraine under the impetus of western countries successfully launched the "Orange Revolution",the pro western Yushchenko office,Russia's strategic space further squeezed,the original strategic suddenly became the western front to curb Russia,Ukrainian Russian relations deteriorated sharply.Yanukovich was elected president of Ukraine in 2010,pursuing a balanced diplomacy,Ukraine and Russia to ease relations.November 2013,Yanukovich taking into account the economic situation in Ukraine and the pressure from Russia,the EU decided to suspend the signing of the agreement with the EU,triggering the crisis in Ukraine.Because of the importance of geographical location in Ukraine,followed by Russia,the European Union,the United States launched a geopolitical competition.This paper uses the relevant theories of international politics,international relations and analysis methods,explore the development course of Ukrainian Russian relations,and from the perspective of geopolitics in-depth analysis of the impact of geopolitical factors of the Ukrainian Russian relations after the orange revolution,analysis and predict the future trend in the objective and rational to the development of bilateral relations.This paper is divided into four parts:In the first part,the author mainly discusses the geopolitical theory,and comprehensively introduces the geopolitical situation.This chapter is divided into three sections,the first section,starting from the domestic and foreign research,the paper introduces the basic concept of geopolitics,and sums up the geopolitical theory and evolution of the law;second,Ukraine location is analyzed,and stressed that because of Ukraine irreplaceable geographical the political status,sandwiched between the various political forces,the geopolitical environment is complex;the third section,through the full range of Russia's geopolitical situation,highlighting the Russian geopolitical strategic value for Ukraine,and reiterated that the Ukraine issue is the most difficult and important problem facing.The second part,after the orange revolution,through the review of the course of the development of the relationship between Ukraine and Russia,summed up the relationship between Ukraine and Russia presents a tense and sometimes relaxed characteristics.This chapter is divided into three sections,the first section,by the Yushchenko administration,pursuing a comprehensive Pro western diplomatic strategy,leading to the two sides in the political,economic and cultural fields continue to dispute,further elaborates this period of Ukrainian Russian relations in general in a state of confrontation;second,Yanukovich was elected president in 2010,adjusted the Ukraine policy of Russia and in the political,economic and cultural fields play down the dispute,to seek cooperation,Ukrainian Russian relations gradually eased,began to normal;third,in 2013 the outbreak of the crisis in Ukraine,Crimea off Ukraine into Russia,Ukraine problems resulting in the Ukrainian Russian relations as one falls,another rises,re deteriorated,fell to its lowest point,the future development trend of whirling.The third part analyzes the relationship between Ukraine and Russia from the perspective of geopolitics.This chapter is divided into two sections,the first section,through the analysis of the Russian and European three forces in Ukraine to pursue their interests,further elaborates the influence of external factors of geopolitical relations between Ukraine and Russia;second,to analyze the domestic factors that influence on the Ukrainian Russian relations from Ukraine East exist in three aspects: politics,economy,history and culture the difference.The fourth part mainly analyzes the future direction of the relationship between Ukraine and Russia from the perspective of geopolitics.This chapter is divided into two sections,the first section,from the diplomatic orientation,Poroshenko ruling after Ukraine gradually joined the EU in two aspects,analysis of the possibility of Ukrainian Russian relations is easing;second,through the analysis of Ukraine secession,Ukraine joined NATO to further deterioration of the possibility of the existence of interpretation of Ukrainian Russian relations.
