A Study Of The Impact Of The Japanese Newspaper's View Of China On China-Japan Relations In 2006-2016

Whether China-Japan relations could get some improvement has become one of the most important issues in east Asia and the international community.Because of long-term accumulation of historical and realistic factors,the China-Japan relations has many problems,and it is difficult to achieve a real solution in a short period of time.Analyzing the factors that affect China-Japan relations,the influence of Japanese newspaper cannot be ignored.Existing academic research shows that the media has the advantage of fast information spread and wide spread of information.With these advantages,the media can play a special role in the construction of national image and the perception of the people.Based on the concept of Japanese newspapers' view of China as the core research object,and from the perspective of constructivism in international relations,and with the silence spiral and virtual environment theory as the theoretical basis,there is model of how Japanese newspapers' view of China has made a influence on China-Japan relations.Specifically,Japanese newspapers' view of China's forming process is an interaction,mutual penetration and mutual influence of cycle.In the process of influence relations between China and Japan,the Japanese newspaper collect the information from both side of people and the government,so that they could have an impact on the view of Japanese people to China.In order to verify the applicability of the model,this article choose Japan's big three newspaper,the Asahi Shimbun,Japanese Economic news and Daily News as the research sample selected from 2006 to 2016.By comparing the Japanese newspaper reports and the time of the events and reports after China-Japanese relations,we can sum up the concept of how Japanese newspaper makes influence on China-Japan relations.Then sum up the Three Rings model to analysis this process.
