The Resolution on Certain Historical Issues("the First Historical Resolution")adopted in 1945 and the Resolution on Several Historical Issues Concerning the Party since the founding of the People's Republic of China(hereinafter referred to as the "Second Historical Resolution")adopted in 1981,which are two particularlyimportant historical documents in the history of the CPC.These two historical resolutions basically established the revolutionary road with Chinese characteristics and the road of socialist construction with Chinese characteristics.An outstanding Marxist theorist,Hu Qiaomu,who was recognized by Deng Xiaoping as the "first pen in the party",helped Mao Zedong to participate in the drafting of the first historical resolution and then drafted the second historical resolution under the auspices of Deng Xiaoping.In the history of our Party,from the 1940 s to the 1980 s,we have participated in the drafting of two "historical resolutions".In order to solve the historical problems and unify the whole Party's thought,we have made a significant contribution to the formation of the two theoretical achievements.Hu Qiaomu is the only one.This paper systematically combs and studies the historical contribution of Hu Qiaomu to the formation of the second historical resolution of the CPC.And through this study,trying to deepen the understanding of the historical process of the formation and development of the socialist construction road with Chinese characteristics,deepen the understanding of the party's own development requirements,strengthen the communist ideals and
