A Study On Social Work Intervention In Urban Community Home-based Aged Services

With the development of our country's economy,society,and culture,the aging of the population has become severe increasingly.The problem of old-age support for the elderly has become an important practical issue that our country facing,and it has also attracted the attention of many scholars in different fields of study.There are three main types of old-age care in China:Traditional family pension model,institutional pension and community pension.Among them,community pension is an old-age support model advocated by our country.The community pension model can make full use of all the resources of the community to meet the various needs of the elderly.It fully embodies the specific requirements of the country's old-age care service system that is based on “home-based,community-based,and institution-based”.This paper takes the A community in Xiamen City as an example to study the social work involved in urban community home care services.The author borrows Jinyan Social Work Service Center from Xiang'an District of Xiamen City.Yanxiang Ma Xiang and Sunset Red Home Social Care Service Project in Community A.The implementation of the opportunity,through questionnaires and field interviews to understand the A community in the context of population aging,the community of the elderly are generally in poor physical condition,lack of material economy,lack of spiritual comfort and other issues,and analyze the needs of the elderly;Based on the theoretical basis of the advantage perspective,we tried to use one of the three major methods of working in social work.The work of the group involves the community and taps into the resources owned by the community and the elderly.Community service centers were used as platforms to develop social needs for older people in the community.Work professional services to meet the diversified needs of all kinds ofsenior citizens,Improve the sense of belonging and happiness of the old man in the community.and through practical research,summed up practical experience.
