The Research Of Xi Jipping's Overall National Security Concept

The subject of the world is peace and development at present.The situation of the world is generally peaceful and stable while there are also contradictions and conflicts.Since the reform and opening up,China has developed rapidly and become a veritable power in the territorial,economic,military fields.And China's national security is facing a new international background:profound changes in the global governance system,economic globalization,world multi-polarization,cultural and information diversification,developed countries still occupy the world's leading position,the continued power-strengthening of developing countries,global economic growth slowing-down,regional hotspots issues,geopolitical tensions issues,traditional security threats and non-traditional security threats make global situation instable.While the domestic background:China's social development imbalance influence economic security,social contradictions threatens the political security,the more cultural security issues.Under the international and domestic backgrounds,China's national security is facing severe security challenges.Under the new and complex backgrounds,Xi Jinping came up with a new national concept called "overall national security concept",in order to comply with the international situation in April 15th,2014.The leaders of China since 1949 are always paid much attention to the national security issues,and put forward different national security concepts according to Chinese characteristics at different times:the traditional national security concept period of Chairman Mao who emphasized revolution and war(1949-1977);the traditional national security concept period of Deng Xiaoping who emphasized peace and development(1978-1994);the new national security concept period of Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao who emphasized mutual-trust,mutual-benefit,equality,collaboration(1995-2013).The "overall national security concept" proposed by Xi Jinping inherited and innovated based on the previous leaders' national security concepts.And it also established a national security system includes many security elements:the internal security and external security,national security and homeland security,non-traditional security and traditional security etc.It is not only conducive to construct a harmonious world,but also conducive to grasp the national security situation accurately,improve the national security mechanism operation,strengthen legal construction of the national security.Finally,it will be a national security concept with Chinese characteristics.
