Study On The Integration Of Muslim Immigrants In The European Union Society

Over more than 60 years sustained development,the Europe Union has been a successful model of regional integration owing to the unification of economy,politics and culture.During the integration process of over half a century,countries in Europe and member states of the EU have made considerations concerning their economies and politics while the issues of Cultural Identity in processing of Immigration integration in European countries seems to be marginalized.The fail of Cultural Identity in processing of Immigration integration in European countries contribute to the basis for European immigration policy after the Cold War.While European countries had to accommodate a large number of immigrants to compensate their labor shortage,among which Muslim immigrants accounted for a large proportion.Because the Muslims were not well received in the labor market as they were not well-educated,and there were huge differences in languages,religions and cultures between Muslim countries and European countries,effective communication between the two groups were largely impeded.Moreover the xenophobia and superiority of indigenous Europeans made it harder for the Muslim group to fit into the mainstream society,thus estrangement grew.Achieving the integration of Muslim immigrants in Europe is vital to the peace and stability of the European;this is also a touchstone for the European’s pluralist policies and the ideology of racial equality.The integration of Muslim immigrants in Europe should not be taken into an island,even not more with some violent strategies.But should be taken some actively policy to adjust the issue and help "European Muslims" get rid of the logic dilemma identity and violence gradually.This is the responsibility for European Union;which would open up the situation of European’s dilemma about multi-ethnic in the future.
