A Study On The General Characteristics Of Socialist Core Values

With the rapid development,the contemporary China is confronted with challenges and difficulties in many aspects of economy,politics,culture,society,international affairs and others,meanwhile suffering from a decline in the level of the people's morality and living standard and lacking of inner peace and faith.For the first time,a summary of the core values of socialism is proposed on the 18 th CPC National Congress with twelve key words in three levels: advocate a prosperous,democratic,civilized and harmonious national level;advocate freedom,equality,justice,the rule of law at the social level;advocating patriotic,dedicated,honest,friendly personal level.Based on the historical materialism of Marx,this paper studies the three characteristics of the socialist core values,that is,the characteristics of social form,people's subjectivity and practical characteristics.The study on the characteristics of social form is based on the social background of the core socialist values in three aspects of economy,politics and culture.Expounded its existence in contemporary China and cannot exist in the era of capitalism characteristics.The study on people's subjectivity is based on the status of people with the socialist core values.we really maintain the development of values,only by consolidating and developing the people's dominant position.The study on practical characteristics is based on the possibility of core socialist values to be achieved.The development of economy motivates all the historical events since the evolution of the socialism is accompanied with better social forms and ideologies.On the basis of reform,opening up to international economy,politics and culture and the construction of Chinese-style economy,to explore and summarize the core values of socialism.The socialist core values are born under the environment of socialism with Chinese characteristics on a basement of the theory of Marx's sinicization.
