Building the socialist core value system is a momentous theoretical issue. Once submitted, it is becoming the hot points in the ideological and cultural development. With the reform and opening up to the deepening, Chinese society is undergoing a huge transformation. And there are kinds of values existed or turned up in this transformation period. Because of this situation, people sink into the confusion of values and moral decay under the drive of money and benefits.In the new century, the value problems have becoming an obstacle to achieving a comprehensive breakthrough for our society. Due to this situation, every kind of cultures and civilizations of the world are facing restructuring and integration. Also, they are facing comparison and conflict between the different values.Focus on us, now our country is still in the primary stage of socialism, and people's material and cultural demand is still not well satisfied. In the new century, China's reform and opening up has entered a new stage. China's reform and opening up promoted its economic prosperity and made remarkable achievements. However, the economic prosperity can not cover up the lagging behind social ideology, culture, values, and morality. So china has experiencing an unbalanced and non-synchronous development between economic and social values, which result the confusion of values, the value of lost and the value conflict during the transformation of Chinese society. As the point of the writer's view, the root cause of the problem lies in:the existence of multiple values; the existence of multiple value subjects; the changes of the social structure; the adjustment pattern of interests and so on. In particularly the adjustment of the pattern of interests, this made contradictions between different stakeholders. Different stakeholders have different values, then the conflict between different values is can not be avoided. In addition, people are forced by the desire of money, which made them lost. So, the values lost and the moral crumbling are going to be the social problems we must pay attention to. Building the socialist core values is a major theoretical issue. Marxist's theory on the human nature's methodology is the philosophical foundation to build the socialist core values. And to build a socialist core values is also a new development and complementary to Marxist. Of course, we should absorb all the scientific or excellent domestic, ideas and values.Socialist core value system is a large system with rich content. Include the guiding status of Marxism in the ideological, the common ideals of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the national spirit with patriotism as the core and spirit of the times with reform and innovation at the core of the socialist concept of honor.
