Research On The Causes For The Transform Of The National Defense Education In China Since 1949

As a important part of national security and national defense construction,national defense education has gone through several important historical stages. And a lot of valuable practical experience is gained. In the past 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China, national defense and army construction of our country has made brilliant achievements in constant exploration and reformation and gradually taken the road of regularization and legalization. Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping has made a series of important instructions on national defense and army building, objectively putting forward new requirements for national defense education and setting new expectations.Therefore, this paper attempts to sort out and summarize the characteristics of the evolution of national defense education. And the history of national defense education theory and practice of enlightenment were summed up, which has very important practical significance in the depth development of the new historical conditions of China's national defense education.By the combination of theory and practice method, literature research method.etc,selection, comparison and analysis of relevant historical facts and data of national defense education have been down in turn. Taking the most representative historical events, the most distinctive educational activities and the most iconic reform achievements in the important development stages of national defense education as an example, four characteristics of the national defense education since the founding of the People's Republic of China were summarized and demonstrated. That is to say, the national defense education in the period of War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea and in several self-defense counterattacks are taken as an example to discriminate the important characteristic of "insisting on serving the national defense and carrying forward the spirit of patriotism" in the evolution of national defense education.Taking the combat readiness education during the exploration period of the socialist construction and the education of coastal defense and air defense since the reform and opening policy as an example, the important characteristic of "dynamically adjusting the strategy of the national defense education according to the security concept and the national defense construction demand" was discriminated.By comparing and analyzing the national defense education which the guidingideology is building up the army of Militia division and the national defense education since the reform and opening policy, it is concluded that the evolution characteristic of the national defense education is "transiting from pure professional military training to popularized national defense quality education". Taking the promotion of the first military service law as the center of national defense education and the the legal construction of the national defense education since the reform and opening policy as an example, the evolution characteristic of the national defense education which "transiting from carrying out the military service law to taking the road of comprehensive legal construction track" was discriminated. On this basis, this paper puts forward some important historical revelations, and sums up at the end of each chapter.Through the illustration of the characteristics of the development of the national defense education, the way which how to promote the function of national defense education in the new era is found, such as cultivation of the mainstream values,creation of a strong social atmosphere for national defense, realization of the aim of the national defense education, improvement of the effect of the national defense education, concern of the new trend of the security threats, reinforcement of the legal system construction and institution building of national defense education, perfection of national defense education system and grass-roots implementation of the main body.Therefore, it is believed that our national defense education will be improved on the normal and institute road, based on the basis of profoundly summary about historical experience, innovative ways.
