Revelation Of American Environmental Education To Ecological Moral Education Of China

The 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward to promote ecological progress and incorporate it into all aspects and the whole process of advancing economic,political,cultural,and social progress.Ecological progress provides a new vision for national and social environmental education.As a new type of moral education,ecological moral education has become a brand-new topic.In the U.S.,started from 1970 s,environmental education has formed standardized,orderly and distinctive characteristics.In particular,it has got remarkable achievements on institutional guarantee,education system and public participation.Compared with the U.S.,ecological moral education of China started later,and it has not developed so maturely in the ways of institutional guarantee,school education and social education.The mission of ecological moral education should take more efforts to fulfill.Based on the theories like environmental ethics,Marxism ecological perspective,Chinese ecological civilization theory,this essay analyzes history,development and experience of American environmental education,and makes a comparison about ecological moral education of China.We hope to find significant revelation about institutional guarantee,education system and public participation.
