Opportunities And Challenges For Government Governance In The Context Of Big Data

Today,the rapid development of information technology promotes society into the "information explosion" era.Large number,large scale,and the efficient dissemination of the big data opened an age of large-scale production,sharing and application.Just as the telescope can perceive the universe,microscopes can observe the same microbes,large data is changing the way people understand the world,affecting the economy,politics,humanities,society and other fields.Based on this huge potential for value,more and more countries recognize the importance of large data resources,and some countries even rose it to the height of national strategy.China has the world's largest population and the most extensive application of the market,high complexity,fast change,China has become the world's most complex large data countries.Linked to the current problems in China involved in the medical,health,education,transportation and other fields in the process of government governance,through the large data of this new management tools can effectively solve these problems.The large data acts as a government governance tool is a kind of active governance resource,which has broad application foreground and development space in the construction of government governance ability.It has an important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,I use the literature research method and case analysis method to combine the background of the era of large data age with government governance,and analyzes the application status of large data in government administration and the application of large data in America's government administration.Then,I use SWOT analysis to analyze the opportunities and challenges faced by our government in the era of large data.On the one hand,the big data age innovated the concept of government governance,became more open and scientific;innovated the way of government governance,improved the government's scientific decision-making ability,public service ability,emergency management ability and social supervision ability.At the same time,the government governance structure has been innovated,emphasizing the importance of citizen participation.However,on the other hand,the big data age also brings many challenges to the government,such as data security risks,data dictatorship,data open and shared problems,data technology and lack of talent.In view of the above problems,combined with the development and utilization of large data in China,I put forward some countermeasures and suggestions: establish an open and inclusive thinking and scientific analysis of thinking,reshape the concept of government governance;establish and improve the relevant laws and regulations,regulate the application of large data;Innovation and large data technology,training large data talent,build a large data service platform to promote the modernization of government governance;from the citizens involved in the main body,the object and the receptor three aspects to enhance citizen participation,enrich the government's governance structure.Hoping to further improve the government's governance through these paths and promote the modernization of government governance.
