A Study On Anti-drug Campaign Of Beijing Under The Linkage Mechanism

Drug problem is an obstacle to social progress of modern China.As the capital of People's Republic of China,Beijing also have the toxic from old days.Under the leadership of the central government,Beijing had carried out systematic and large-scale anti-drug campaign.This paper attempts to take anti-drug propaganda and arresting drug traffickers as examples to study the development of anti-drug campaign in Beijing from the linked perspective.On the one hand,this paper will study the composite usage of anti-drug propaganda methods and mechanisms,as well as the units in the anti-drug propaganda which unified in the anti-drug policy.This shows that the anti-drug propaganda constituted a unified system and formed a campaign by adjusting policies timely,using work methods comprehensively and mobilizing the power of various units after initial mistakes.On the other hand,this paper will reveal the route and network of drug traffickers in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,and explore the the fact of drug traffickers arresting in region's major cities with the clues of the big drug traffickers in the background of national anti-drug campaign,in order to assist the work of anti-drug in Beijing.Because of the combination of working methods and coordination of various units,as well as the unification of anti-drug forces in this region,the anti-drug campaign in Beijing made a decisive success in propaganda and drug traffickers arresting,and became a strong blow to the drug problem over the past century.On the basis of the relevant historical facts,this paper has a theoretical conclusion on the characteristics,significance and limitations of anti-drug campaign.From the characteristics of time and space,in the space,Beijing attached great importance to the central government,and play the exemplary role;also the effective cooperation of region key city is improtant;in the time,it has the characteristics of the powerful execution,clear policy and firm guide.It also has the characteristics of large scale,movement type,and militarization.For the significance,the anti-drug campaign in Beijing owns the significance such as social innovation,consolidate power and so on.From the point of limitations,it mainly reflectes in the specific implementation,such as lacking of anticipation,and did not understand the situation clearly.We should acquaint its meanings and limitations objectively,and apply its experience to our anti-drug work today.
