A Study On The Influencing Factor Of The Environmental Protest Action' Consequence In Internet Age

In recent years, Due to rapidly development of industrialization and urbanization,in China,environmental issues have become increasingly prominent, and the environmental issues related mass protests is rising. In these environments protest events, some are successful, but some are failed. Based on this series of phenomena, paper stood under the background of the Internet era, take the environmental protest action as the specific research object, it aims to explore the various factors affecting the results of the environmental protest action.In the course of the study, paper uses a multi-case comparative analysis after the author's careful screening, finalized use three typical environmental protest event as the blueprint for research, and respectively from the main role, the object selection and the media conduction do the research. Through comparative analysis of the three cases, finally, the article found, in the Internet age, the impact of the protests result mainly reflects in three main aspects: the first is the protesters' ability to organize and mobilize; the second is the object of compromise, and it is decided by the political costs and economic costs; the third is the effect of the media information transmission. Among them, the stronger of the protesters' organized mobilization capacity is, the higher of the object of compromise, and the better of the media information transmission, then the protest action will more likely to succeed.
